The Role:
We're currently looking to recruit for a Breakfast Chef to assist with the general day to day running of our restaurant.
Duties include cooking fresh seasonal produce to an exceptional standard, assisting the Head Chef as and when required, mentoring the lower level Chefs and working as part of a team to maintain the hotels outstanding reputation, keep the kitchen and work station clean and tidy at all times, store food safely and correctly.
This position is for an individual who wishes to grow as part of an ever developing business and who sees the position as an exciting and long term appointment.
Role Criteria:
- Ideally you'll have previous experience in a similar role however if you have food / catering qualifications you'll also be considered.
- You will be responsible for high levels of hygiene control and health and safety throughout the department.
- You will have some understanding of all aspects of food operations within a busy hotel including conference and banqueting.
- You will be reporting directly to the Head Chef.
- This also could be an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commis Chef looking for a progressive and challenging role.
